Mom has requested assistance with leg braces that will help with her balance and stability. They are custom fit and the insurance will not cover the $1,858.00. cost. With a 30 percent discount from Acadian Rehab, For Kids approved the braces for $1,385.57.

Elisa is a 15 year old girl who was born with facial palsy. Reconstruction of her face was started last year, but requires three surgeries, each with an out-of-pocket cost of $10,000.00. The family's insurance will pay $45,000, but Mom and Dad are struggling to pay the copayment. For Kids approved $5,000.00 and enlisted the help of the Give Hope Foundation to provide 75 percent of the needed up front cost.
